Elliot's Home
Elliot and her family live inside an old disused metal watering can, which has positioned itself upside down on top of a retired compost heap.

The front door, which a gnome friend of the family made from an old bottle top, is fixed to the top of the spout. Once through the bottle top door, entry into the home is made by climbing up the spout and exit is made by sliding all the way down.

The soft compost provides a warm cosy carpet and the tiny rust  holes, which have appeared over time, let enough daylight through to brighten up the inside.

Elliot and her family spend many a cold winter's evening, huddled by the warmth of the fireflies, inside their little home, forever grateful to the human who had no further use for the watering can and left it beside Mallowbrook stream unwanted.
